PS/2 X-keys

The most common problem we encounter with the PS/2 X-keys is people looking for software to use with it. The PS/2 X-keys simply records keystrokes from the keyboard. No software is needed. Instructions for programming your PS/2 X-keys are found on the back (Desktop and Professional models) or in this manual: manxkps2.pdf

Another common problem is not having a keyboard plugged into the PS/2 X-keys. The PS/2 X-keys must have a PS/2 keyboard connected for programming.

Mouse Commands

X-keys USB devices support mouse commands in MacroWorks 3. Select a key to program and pick the mouse action from the Function list labeled Mouse.

X-keys PS/2 devices can be used to trigger mouse commands in Windows Accessibility Options. For a basic tutorial on setting up your X-keys to trigger Accessibility Options, click here: wamouse.pdf.
